Gradually ageing frustrated writer who occasionally has moments of brilliance, only to have them fizzle and die before actually getting anything accomplished. Currently studying a Bachelor of Arts degree through CQU Distance Education and desperately trying to maintain a ridiculously high standard of marks. Has aspirations to become a teacher of some kind, preferably tertiary, but college or adult education may have to suffice.

Is father to two boys and has two more children on the way, but unaware of the gender as yet.

Loves Tasmania and all it has to offer, except for the incumbent Government. Hates unimaginative soapy storylines, neighbours who like to pretend they're colour blind, barking dogs and telephones that ring incessantly within earshot and not answered by the second ring.

Favourite Soap - 'Home and Away' (but only so I can bitch about it)
Worst Movies Ever Made - 'Wild Wild West', 'The Avengers', 'Gigli', 'Batman and Robin'
Favourite food - Japanese, Thai and Indian


Will not eat to save myself - Brussel Sprouts, Oily Fish, Octopus and anything that was once some kind of organ.,. And most recently... McDonalds burgers

Dream Vacation Destination - Athens and surrounding areas (I want to touch the Parthenon)

Best Holiday so far - impromptu road trip in 1996 with my wife (riotously funny, but harrowing)
